We are a Private Sector business, and as such, the use of the logos and external URL's on this website are strictly to promote what we believe to be the best relevant sources to obtain appropriate help. As such, we do NOT collect IP’s and we do NOT use any “Unique Identifiers" for you. We are interested in the following example simple information: total number of visits per month (tells us to expand or decrease hardware resources), and the top 5 countries who visit us (helps determine stuff like which languages to support). We hope that most people will call a National Helpline if they need it, and (this cannot be tracked by us), this is between the visitor and the Helpline only.
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, expand and develop new ones, and to protect our business and our users where possible. Cookies and similar technologies examples: We are not advertising or selling information from this website, therefore, (to my knowledge), the cookies are merely communicating whether visitors are using a desktop or mobile device and what browser is necessary to visualize the information. You may also set your browser to block all cookies, including cookies associated with our services, or to indicate when a cookie is being set by us, however, it’s important to remember that this may screw up the language preferences. If a visitor has questions or requests, we reserve the right to reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical. We do not have accounts here, therefore, there is very little information we could provide in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, nevertheless we shall respect and comply with legal requests. For legal reasons: We must reserve the right to share our small amount of e.g. statistics only in a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, enforce applicable Terms of Use or Service, including investigation of potential violations, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of our business, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the content or services offered by our business for this website only. I have carefully linked to U.S. Government resources only. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you as links, in which case, I make it clear here that we cannot be accountable for external websites, nor the result or their actions as all of their protocols and content are not known to us.
We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy, and it may change from time to time. If we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow-up, and reserve the right to arbitrate outside of court (see terms of use).
This website is equipped with a website translator. The button is in the upper right corner of the websites webpages, and gives the user access to Google's official "translation widget" to translate the entire website. We cannot be responsible for the quality of this translation, because we do not control Google's translation service. Although this button translates the website to all major languages for everyone, please be advised that the National Helpline is designed to provide services for people in the United States only.
